Flowers Grown Thoughtfully

for You and Our Earth

  • Garden with blooming pink and red dahlias under clear blue sky.

    Soil is King

We grow soil before we grow flowers. Healthy soil means nature can do the hard stuff, and we just keep it on track. Adding manure from local livestock, leaves that fell in our neighborhood, and compost made here in town keeps our soil healthy without expensive inputs from miles away.

    "Little o" organic

Growing Good Farm will never use synthetic fertilizer or synthetic pesticides. They’re not good for farm workers, our soil, or the bugs and animals that visit our growing space.

    Water Watchful

Water is precious, as any Colorado local can tell you. We grow flowers that fit well in our arid climate. Growing our soil makes it act like a sponge when we do get rain. We use drip irrigation that delivers water right at the plant base to lessen water loss from evaporation, and use thick mulch to keep that water where the plant roots can get at it.

    Pollinators Welcome

We take care to be watchful of the little world unfolding in our growing space. There are good bugs and bad bugs, and we promote a healthy balance of the two so that our plants can support the larger ecosystem.
